Dulce is high in iodine which I do not get enough of from my Himalayan salt. I mix the dulce into a cooked food along with help, hijiki, and wakame seaweeds. Together they provide a wide spectrum of trace minerals in a form that the body can absorb. Because I use the other seaweeds, I only use 1/4 teaspoon of dulce instead of the recommended full teaspoon, which makes it last a long time. When mixed into any food you will not taste it.
