Alvectin

Alvectin is a proprietary Yeast Extract.

Pulmonary surfactants may support the body in responding to:

• Infections
• Airborne pollution
• Tar deposits for smokers.

May Improve Alveolar Health (air-containing cells of the lungs)

In order to inhale, water must be removed from the alveolar sacs, otherwise, water surface tension makes inhalation difficult. Pulmonary surfactants may support the displacement of water out of the alveolar sacs.

We hope it will become common place for all lifeguards to have access to pulmonary surfactants which may support the displacement of water out of the lungs of near drowning victims (both salt and fresh water).
