Daylight is a unique mineral complex of hydrogen ions. As such it has a pH of 0.2 and lowers with the age of the product. Normally, liquids of this pH are considered dangerously corrosive; the Daylight is not on most substances. At full strength it has been noted that clothing, counter tops and stainless steel is damaged otherwise it is completely safe to use. One should be careful not to get a full concentration in the eyes.
Uses and Dilution Rates:
It is an excellent disinfectant when diluted up to 5000/1 and can be used to clean floors, bathtubs, walls and clothing.
It is an excellent insect repellent also at 5000/1. One must note that body perspiration, heavy dew or rain will dilute the product more than 5000/1 and another application would be necessary to continue to act as an insect repellent. I suggest a spraying once every 2-4 hours.
In using a stronger solution, say 2500/1 the residual effect is much longer and can be used to control areas where there are bed bugs, termites, ants or mosquitoes may be moving into an area. In the greenhouse or garden one will see all insects, both predatory and beneficial, being affected by the product.
Personal usage is beneficial internally when one drop is applied under the tongue. Acidification of the skin after a shower or bath is also recommended after towel drying. 3-4 drops rubbed together on the palms of the hands and rubbed over the entire body is suggested. Daylight works excellent to control body odor and one may require only 2-3 more drops. Please note in doing this clothing may smell moldy at the end of the day, the Daylight is pulling molds out of the body.
Where the skin has been broken a spraying of 2500/1 will clean and disinfect.
Where poison is or has been put in the body such as bee or hornet stings, snake bites, abscessed teeth, poison ivy or oak; a full concentration of the Daylight is required. Pain may increase and then subside to normal levels. With poison ivy or oak a burning sensation may be experienced for about 5 minutes.
For a complete cleaning of the mouth put 2-3 drops on the tooth brush without toothpaste and bush vigorously. It is suggested to do this only once per week as you may affect the tooth enamel or tooth sensitivity. However, by doing it once per week any tooth decay will be stopped and the tooth will start to rebuild the deteriorated area.
