Fluoride Removal System
This fluoride system was created for people who have fluoride problems in their water.
This is a non-regenerable drinking water and general-purpose cartridge designed to reduce fluoride to below 0.5 ppm. It is constructed totally from FDA grade materials and media.
It utilizes a special fine mesh activated alumina that has been preconditioned specifically for single use cartridge applications. Laboratory evaluations have demonstrated that preconditioning step will increase the filter's capacity to as high as 11,000 ppm F+ with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm F+ feed.
High pH, high bicarbonate levels, and high flow rates all adversely affect the capacity of this filter. For the best results do not exceed recommended flow rates and pH conditions. For influent streams above 100 ppm of bicarbonate, reduce capacity by 50%. Above 200 ppm reduce capacity by 75%
Arsenic
This filter has also been shown to reduce Arsenic to below 0.02 ppm (from 0.12 ppm feed). However, the total capacity for arsenic has to be determined
