Whole Food Source of Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids and Fiber

This ancient food source of the Aztecs contains the highest level of omega 3 essential fatty acids available from plant sources - even higher than flax seed. The naturally high level of antioxidants protect the omega 3 oils from oxidation. Unlike flax seed, chia does not have to be refrigerated.

Directions for Use:
Chia seeds MUST be hydrated before consuming. Mix with water, fruit juice or other drinks.

One serving = of 4 tsp (25 grams) and contains:
134 calories, 8.2 g of fat, 4.3 g protein, 11 IU of Vitamin A, 205 mg calcium, 4.1 mg iron, 5.2 g Omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid) and 1.7 g Omega-6 (linoleic acid) essential fatty acids.
