Petitgrain, Citrus aurantium

Botanical Name Citrus aurantium, Citrus vulgaris
Essence Gently Refreshing & Calming
Function Petitgrain is distilled from the leaves and young shoots of the Orange tree. A fresh-floral scent with a woody-herbaceous, nutty undertone. Its refreshing, calming, sedating, assuring properties address anger, panic, insomnia and other stress related conditions. Deodorizing, cleansing, antiseptic, toning properties useful in treating skin disorders such as acne, greasy skin and hair.
Usage Inhalation - to calm or sedate place 3 drops in the palms and rub together then breathe deeply with hands cupped over the nose, or use in a diffuser. 
Bath - 5-6 drops to calm, deodorize tone and refresh.
Skin and Hair care - add a few drops to unscented products.
Aromatherapy relaxing, soothing, stabilizing.
