Patchouli, Pogostemon patchouli

Botanical Name Pogostemon patchouli
Essence Earthy, Grounding & Balancing
Function This earthy fragrance may be used to balance and ground the psyche. Can sharpen the wits and sedate in small doses but stimulate the mind in high doses. Suppresses the appetite, relieves water retention.
Usage Bath - 5-6 drops to soothe your worries away while providing problem skin with an astringent treatment. 
Massage - 10-15 drops per 60 ml of carrier oil provide a grounding massage. 
Skin and Hair care - add a few drops to unscented products.
Aromatherapy calming anger, depression-weepy, fear of sexuality, nervine, anti-inflammatory, aphrodisiac, sedative, relaxing, deodorant, tonic, relieves water retention, aids in suppressing hunger.
Caution Use sparingly this oils strong fragrance can be over powering.
