Myrrh was used as part of worship in ancient Egypt. It offers a sense of
strength, stability and courage. It eases fear and facilitates meditation. It is a base
note and has a grounding effect on the psyche. It revitalizes the skin and is blended with
lotions as a nutrient for aging and wrinkled skin.
Usage
Place 1 drop in a tumbler of warm water and gargle to help with coughs and
sore throat. May be used as a chest rub when diluted with a base oil 4 drops of Myrrh to
30 ml of base oil. A few drops in a diffuser will calm and offer an environment for
meditation.
