Bergamot, Citrus bergamia

Function Bergamot is used to calm and relax anxiety and fear and to provide stability to the emotions. It has an uplifting and refreshing effect on depression and physical or psychological exhaustion. It is a strong antiseptic and may be used as a mouthwash or for skin infections. It has been used to reduce fever when applied as a compress, to assist people stop smoking. It assists with regulating the appetite and could help anorexia.
Usage Bergamot essential oil is derived by cold-pressing the peel of the bergamot fruit. It blends well with other oils, such as cedarwood, geranium, neroli, and chamomile. Compress - apply to reduce fever. Diffuse - 4 drops to assist respiratory problems and kill bacteria. Bath - 5 drops mixed in a carrier oil/bath salts/dispersant to soothe your worries away while providing your problem skin with a healing treatment.
