Acid Reflux Disease

Gastro Esophogeal Acid reflux disease (GERD) has been brought into the spotlight by the pharmaceutical companies. This is a good thing, except that they present their products as a person's only hope of controlling or healing the condition. The relief from their products is a good thing, but the hidden causes remain. They do not encourage further research into causes of the symptoms.
