Here's what healthcare professionals have to say about Recovery with
Nutricol:
The following success stories have been sent to us by healthcare professionals
who have recommended Recovery to their patients. All stories are unsolicited
and the authors have received no compensation.
General Health
I would recommend Recovery to anyone who would like to live a fuller
life. Thank you Recovery!
Zori Cohen, MD, MPH, Washington
The benefits are outstanding. Many MD's are recommending Recovery.
The results in many cases are hard to believe!
Bob Rai, B.Sc.
It is hard not to believe in Recovery after seeing its amazing results.
F. Mokelena, B.Sc. London, Ontario
I tend to be quite cautious regarding drug or product efficacy, however,
with Recovery, I am very impressed with feedback from customers as to
improvement. A relatively objective client has achieved a complete reversal
of (symptoms) within a week. Many repeat sales are a good indication that
Recovery does work.
Ken Grunenberg, B.Sc.
My daughter was suffering from debilitating pain. As her mother I was
very concerned and wanted to help her. As a healthcare professional, I
told her to try Recovery. After using Recovery for only a short while
my daughter now has her active lifestyle back. She has now been on Recovery
for quite some time and continues to reap the benefits. Recovery works!
Thank you Recovery.
Jolyne Ball, B.Sc.

clinical data. More research is needed to substantiate the effects experienced
by the users who have provided these testimonials.
Chronic Pain and Acid Reflux
I started using Recovery about five weeks ago and it has already changed
my life! I am 37 years old and have had over a dozen operations. I have
been in pain every day of my life for 20 years. I have taken anti-inflammatories
and prescription pills every day. After starting Recovery, most days I
do not need to take anything and it has been wonderful. One side-benefit
is that I have also been able to discontinue my prescription medication
that I take for acid-reflux.
Janet R. Richardson, Beaverton, OR
Acne Rosacea
In 2000, while conducting my duties as a Correctional Officer, I became
embroiled in a violent altercation with an inmate high on drugs. As a
result, I received two bulging discs in the L4-L5 location of my spine,
which resulted in a 10 month absence from work; 7 of those months were
spent in rehabilitation. During this time the pain I experienced was excruciating,
controlled only by highly potent and addictive prescribed narcotic medication
from my Doctor. During this period, I saw on the local news (CHEK 6) a
story about Recovery and decided to give it a try. Within the first week
of using your product I was able to reduce the dosage of my medication
as the deep rooted pain in the core of my spine and in both of my sciatic
nerves became much less. I attribute this reduction in pain and increase
of mobility to the use of Recovery in conjunction with the rehab training.
I continued to regularly use Recovery and only stopped for a period of
two months. (Don't ask me why) While not using your product I redeveloped
a mild case of preexisting acne rosacea, which would not clear up using
conventional medications from my Doctor. In approximately 2 weeks of using
"Recovery" it did what the medication could not - it completely
cleared up the "bloom" of acne rosacea on my face! I know this
doesn't qualify as a scientific evaluation of your product's effectiveness,
I do however know it sure worked for me! I have never contacted a company
about the effectiveness of their product before but in this case I felt
compelled to advise you of my success stories.
Jim Robertson Victoria, BC
Arthritis, ACL Tear - Pro Athlete
I am a 35 year old sponsored Pro MTB rider and have been on my bicycle
in a pro capacity for over 8 years. I have sustained a multitude of injuries
over the years including a broken ankle, wrist, ribs, fingers and both
arches in my feet, as well as having torn lower abs and groin muscles.
Most debilitating has been a blown ACL in each knee and now recently a
bucket handle tear in my meniscus in my left knee. Being a small business
owner as well as having responsibilities to my sponsors it is important
that I focus on aggressive rehab and sustain a healthy lifestyle when
uninjured. My business partner suffered chronic lower back pain and swore
up and down that Recovery made a difference. After watching him climb
back on his windsurfer I could do nothing short of agree and now I write
this testimonial after using Recovery for 2 years having seen its reward.
Recovery has allowed me to live pain free from my early Osteoarthritis.
It has also significantly reduced my healing times and played a major
role in my on going health. Recovery along with eating right, healthy
lifestyle and having a positive outlook in life proved itself as I had
the most days on a bike last season ever and feel the healthiest and strongest
I have ever been hands down.
Jay Hoots, Vancouver, BC
Arthritis and constant knee pain
Medical Diagnosis: Degenerative arthritis in the knees. I have been
a user of Recovery for a long time. I have arthritis in my knees. I had
orthoscopic surgery, then my knees got so bad the doctor said I needed
a knee replacement.I took Recovery while away one winter, and was to have
surgery in the spring. Come July, I hadn't heard from them yet so I phoned
and cancelled my surgery because my knees were so good. "NO PAIN".
Diana Rennie, Parksville, BC
Arthritis
I am in my late fifties, having played a variety of sports for most
of my life including rugby, football, field hockey, skiing, tennis, golf
and squash. After being a longtime back sufferer, what really started
to plague my activity was deteriorating knees, you name it - I haven't
got it (cartilage, ligaments), but what I do have is probably a fairly
advanced case of osteoarthritis. About 10 years ago I had the first of
five Arthroscopic surgeries on both knees. I wear knee braces for just
about everything, except day to day activity. About two months ago I began
to suffer with an arthritic kind of pain that is what I imagine must be
rheumatic. This was so painful that it used to awaken me at night. When
Recovery came into my hands, I became hooked when after only three days
there was a remarkable improvement. I have been taking Recovery since
then and suffer little or no pain - of the aching variety. I thank you
for this phenomenal, therapeutic compound.
Robin Hill, BC
Arthritis in Hands and knee pain
I use my hands to make jewelry which has given me a wrist problem. My
wrists were inflamed and arthritic. I also had knee problems from horseback
riding. Since taking Recovery, I virtually have no pain in my wrist or
my knees. I feel like I can actually tell that there is more fluid in
my joints and I am virtually pain free!
Maggie McClellan, Florida
Arthritis - Back, Hands, Wrists, Ankles and Knees
Medical Diagnosis confirmed by bone scan: Degenerative arthritis in
the mid and lower dorsal spine, in the hands and wrists, knees and ankles.
I have taken Recovery for nearly a year and have experienced no adverse
effects. On the contrary, since taking Recovery I am no longer aware of
my arthritis - no pain, no stiffness - I feel sound in body again and
feel freer mentally because I no longer worry about losing mobility as
I age.
Oli Cosgrove, Ottawa, ON
Asthma
I gave Recovery to my 80 year-old grandmother. Her asthma is so severe
that she uses a breathing machine 3 to 4 times per day. After 3 days of
taking Recovery, she called me on the phone and said, "You better
not ever run out of that stuff because I haven't felt this strong
in months." She is now down to one treatment per day in the morning
and not every day. She actually went out to breakfast and grocery shopping
alone; that is an accomplishment in itself. Thank you, Recovery.
Debra Dutton, Oregon
Asthma and Allergies
I was using my puffers at least one to two times per day. Since using
Recovery, I have not used the puffers at all.
Ken Davies, BC
Back and Neck Pain (Chonic)
A few years ago I discovered the benefits of this remarkable product.
Shortly after beginning a daily regimen of Recovery, my back and neck
pain disappeared.
Sandra Morgan, BC
Professional ahtlete - Back/Hand pain
Low back pain and arthritic hands for five years left me discouraged
about the length of my professional career. After being diagnosed with
a degenerative disk in my lower back while playing for the Montreal Canadiens
and wanting to stay away from surgery, I did not think there was much
hope. My pharmacist recommended Recovery and after one month, I felt a
vast improvement, reduction in pain and more mobility. It has proven beneficial
in cutting down recovery times from injury, training, fatigue and bumps
and bruises that go along with playing professional hockey. I recommend
Recovery to all athletes who want to greatly reduce their recovery time
from injury and training, people with daily pain from arthritis and injury
and to anyone who wants to feel better all around! Thanks Recovery!
Turner Stevenson, New Jersey Devils - Stanley Cup Champions 2000
Chronic Back Pain
I have been taking Recovery for just over two years, one teaspoon morning
and night; it has changed my life so much. I have not had to have cortisone
shots or use NSAIDs in two years. Prior to taking Recovery, I was taking
cortisone shots every two to three months in the tailbone, hips and sacroiliac
region. Thank you so much. I recommend Recovery to everyone I meet who
complains of joint pain, asthma, fatigue, bursitis, soreness, etc.
Ethel Cain, BC
Chronic Yeast Infection, Irritable Bowels, Low Energy
For the last five years, I have experienced chronic vaginal yeast infections,
irritable bowel syndrome and a lack of energy. I have not gone without
the yeast infection except for maybe for 3-7 days, when treating it with
prescription medicines. I have been taking Recovery for 2 weeks now and
I feel wonderful! I had a yeast infection at the time I began taking Recovery.
I took no other medications or anti-yeast products, ONLY Recovery, and
my yeast infection cleared within 3 days, with absolutely no signs of
it returning. I feel like I used to before all my health problems began
five years ago. Thanks to Recovery, I feel wonderful.
L. Anderson, Victoria
Chronic pain and athletics
Just a note to let you know that I went on Recovery in July, by the
end of August I didn't require any more anti-inflammatories and I
have stopped taking pain pills altogether! I can now mountain bike for
15 to 20 km without any pain, whereas before I had trouble walking to
the garage! Wonderful stuff!
Laurence Polley, Caledon, Ontario
Chronic Severe Pain
I cannot tell you enough about how good that I feel taking Recovery.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have been in pain 24/7 since about
the age of 32. I have tried many different anti-inflammatories and they
do not work like Recovery. I have degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis.
I am just turning 60 and I feel like a kid some days. I can use my hands
and they don't hurt. I have way more energy so I am losing weight.
It is remarkable and I do hope you continue making it because if I had
to give it up now and go back to all that pain I would just about die.
Please keep up the good work and maybe everyone will get to enjoy this
good health as I have from Recovery. Thank you again,
Irene Hambly, BC
Eczema (3 Year old boy)
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just wanted to tell you how much
your product has changed the life of our 3 year old son. He has had eczema
since 3 months of age and recently as bad as 95% of his body. The skin
specialists told us that there was "nothing more they could do".
Our pharmacist recommended your product to us. We started the Recovery
product July 26th 2004 and since August 13th 2004 his eczema has completely
cleared. This is a little boy who has never slept more than 2 to 3 hours
at a time because of discomfort. Thanks to your product he is now able
to have a full night sleep. God bless you all, I tell everyone I know
about your products.

Arthritis and fibromyalgia
It appears that I am following my mother's and grandmother's
footsteps in arthritic joints, particularly the finger joints. Over the
last two or three years several joints on my left hand have become ever
increasingly disfigured and painful (my mother has had to resort to surgery
to restore some movement in her hands). I have been trying everything
to prevent the same thing from happening to me. I have tried virtually
everything, including ASA, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, Celebrex, Vioxx,
herbal remedies, vitamins, etc.; nothing has worked well. The cox-2 inhibitors
had somewhat worked for the joint pain and the fibromyalgia pain.
Since starting on Recovery, I have not needed to take ANY prescription
drugs; I have had greatly reduced joint pain and the fibromyalgia pain
is virtually gone. The use of ASA or acetaminophen has been greatly reduced.
I can't be positive about this but over the last few years I've
experienced an increasing irregular heart beat; however, since taking
Recovery, the irregular occasions have disappeared. The difference has
been quite remarkable; in less than two months, I feel 90% better.
Anthony P. Gray, Pickering, ON
Gout, Restless Leg Syndrome and years of pain
I have suffered with restless leg syndrome, heel spurs and gout for
a few years. Recovery has made the pain a distant memory. The only side
effect I have noticed is that my grey hair is going back to its original
color. I can crouch now with no problem. I started taking Recovery in
September/02 and it worked in about a week. Thanks for a great product.

Surgery wound healing - Forearm
Recovery has made a horrible fall down the stairs into an amazing success
story! It helped me get the use of my arm and wrist back! I broke both
bones in my wrist 8 weeks ago and had a mini Hoffman apparatus put on
(4 pins screwed into the radius bone to traction them back together, joined
by a steel bar with wing nuts). I was told I would have it on for about
8 weeks as I had displaced the radius bone 1/8 of an inch. I was also
informed I would likely have arthritis, carpal tunnel etc. due to severity
of break. I began taking Recovery, initially in November 2001 for 2 c-section
scars. I took Recovery when I got home from a 3 day hospital stay and
within 4 hours I noticed at least a 60% decrease in the swelling in my
hand. I had not been able to see the hair follicle indentations in my
skin, I was so swollen from surgery, the double wrist break and the trauma;
after Recovery, the swelling was gone. The Hoffman apparatus was removed
after only 5 weeks and the doctor said it could have been taken off at
4 weeks, but I could not get a surgery time that week.
I was back to work in 7 weeks instead of the proposed 12 weeks the doctor
thought I would be off. I had the top orthopedic surgeon in BC who also
treated Simon Whitfield. He was amazed at my recovery time, lack of inflammation
at the pin sites and my lack of scar tissue now. I attribute my success
to my determination to heal, a positive attitude, but most of all - Recovery.
Anyone who is having surgery, has ever had surgery and has scar tissue,
or chronic pain from an injury needs to try Recovery. I was a skeptic
- I hate taking drugs unnecessarily. I now believe in Recovery because
my results are truly amazing!
Sue-Anne Carter, BC
Healing After Surgery
Shortly after my knee surgery, the swelling was extreme. I called my
pharmacist and asked if there was anything I could take besides acetaminophen
with codeine? They recommended Recovery, stating that it was very effective
and many patients had displayed very good results. I asked my doctor about
Recovery and he said that he had heard about it and that it would probably
have benefit. I started taking a little more than the therapeutic dose.
A couple days later, I went back to my sports medicine doctor for a checkup,
one look at my knee and his only words were, "that's incredible", and
he advised me to keep taking Recovery.
After speaking to my sports medicine doctor and another associate about
the impressive results Recovery has achieved, the surgeon that performed
my surgery now recommends Recovery after all surgeries he performs to
reduce post-surgical swelling. Both the sports medicine doctor and the
orthopedic surgeon gave me written referrals to keep taking Recovery.
The surgeon is now going to use Recovery topically in the flush area while
he is operating to reduce post-surgical swelling.
K. S., Chilliwack, BC
Hereditary Arthritis
I was told that I would always suffer from arthritis. Previously it
had been so bad I could not get on most shoes, let alone walk without
pain. After 6 weeks on Recovery, the pain and swelling has completely
disappeared.
Maureen Morket, Montana
Injury, Pain, Arthritis
I would not have believed it if I had not experienced it myself! Contact
sports for 20 years and a car accident left me with chronic pain and arthritis.
I began taking Recovery on the advice of the pharmacist. My skin looks
better and there are signs of hair growth coming back. Prior to Recovery,
I had been hospitalized twice for nerve pain from the car accident. After
three weeks on Recovery, the pain was completely gone. I haven't felt
this good since I was about 14 years old!
Pat Meehan, Pharmacy Technician, Texas
Knee and hip replacements
In the past 40 years, I have had 4 replacement surgeries to my knees
and one hip replacement with no relief! Since starting Recovery, I no
longer have to use my crutches or walker and I have no more pain. I now
look forward to each and every day. Thank you all for Recovery. God bless
you all.

Severe Knee Pain And Arthritis
In my early years, I played a number of sports at the semi-pro/professional
levels and incurred many sprains and associated damage to my joints that
healed and permitted me to enjoy a 30-year career as a military pilot.
However, as I reached my mid forties, my knees developed arthritis with
severe associated pain. After a major operation on my left knee, I was
told that I would probably need an artificial knee in about 10 years in
my left knee and my right knee would need attention also. I retired at
50 years of age and thought that I would be fairly restricted in my chosen
second career as a retail owner while helping my wife enjoy her chosen
lifestyle breeding and raising Quarter horses. After 5 years of enduring
the pain in my knees, I tried your Biostructural Medicine Recovery, as
we were giving the equine Recovery-EQ to our horse that had a rear joint
problem. With pleasant surprise, I found that the pain in my knees was
much less and I was able to move about better.
I began using it on a regular basis with fantastic results. I am now
61 and both my knees feel normal except for the bone damage caused by
that first operation. I am able to walk normally without pain and enjoy
outdoor activities including helping my wife with her many horse activities.
Again, thank you for a great product. It's letting me enjoy life to the
fullest.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and cartilidge Tear-knee pain
After three knee surgeries for a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament
(ACL) and subsequent cartilage tears, I thought I would never be able
to take long walks, garden or ski again. I am delighted to say that Recovery
has been extremely helpful and I am now able to do everything, including
skiing. I would recommend Recovery to anyone who would like to live a
fuller life. Thank you Recovery!
Dr. Zori Cohen, MD, MPH, Washington
Knee Surgery and Arthritis
I am a very firm believer in Recovery and have used it for about three
years now, and told everyone who will listen - probably several hundred
- on the merits for it with humans as well as horses and dogs. About five
months ago my cat had a live rabbit in its mouth running through the garden.
I had been riding and had on my heavy boots, but took off at a fast run
to save the rabbit! Running very fast behind my house I tripped on my
boots, crashing onto the concrete path directly on my left knee. It hurt,
but I rose, continuing to chase the cat and saved the rabbit which we
took down to Critter Care in Campbell Valley Park, where it recovered
from the shock!
Meantime my knee hurt, but I was too busy to do anything about it. I
upped Recovery for a few days, then just accepted the swollen knee as
I had family coming from England and a lot to keep me occupied for weeks.
Somehow I refused to accept anything was seriously wrong. Six weeks ago
I felt awful, appeared feverish and the knee was painful. I made my way
to Langley Memorial Hospital and waited five hours in Emergency before
it was my turn to be seen. Then Doctor Wong eventually saw me, took my
temperature and drew a syringe-full of liquid from my knee, which was
sent up immediately to the laboratory. I was given an antibiotic I. V.
and told to return before 9:00 a.m. the following day for another one.
So fifteen hours later I returned, to be told immediately to undress,
get on the gurney, Dr. Rickards, Chief Orthopedic bone surgeon was waiting
for me! Well after 4 hours surgery I awoke in a ward, where I remained
for ten days. It appeared I had severe septic arthritis of my knee and
could have nearly lost it! I was on a permanent I. V. with three strong
antibiotics the whole time, then home with a Care person coming in to
dress my leg and give further I. V.'s for ten more days.
Dr. Rickards could not understand how I had kept going for so long,
for my leg was obviously very bad. I explained to him my trust in Recovery
and he was most impressed, saying without it the leg would have given
much pain and discomfort months before!
Two weeks after I came home with crutches, a walker and wheel chair
I had to go back for a follow up with Dr. Rickards. All other patients
in the waiting room, receiving surgery before me, were either on crutches
or a walker. I had sent my collection back the previous day knowing I
had to make my leg work! The doctor could not believe it was me as I walked
unaided into his room, but of course recognized his own surgery. I had
taken him some Recovery folders and trust he is using it on his other
patients now as he said he would. I go back next week for a further check
up and will ask him.
I am still on Cephalexin 500 mg every six hours (for six weeks) and
one Celebrex a day. Very lucky not to have lost my leg, but am sure Recovery
stayed the pain and arthritis for such a long time, and has aided my recovery.
Warmly, Joy Richardson, Langley, BC
Low Back Pain (Degenerative Disc)
I am 33 years old, and was diagnosed with a degenerative disc in my
lower back (L5-S1) twelve months ago, after dealing with years of chronic
back pain, and many days laid up in bed. As you can imagine, this condition
was drastically limiting my ability to windsurf, kiteboard, and mountain
bike....three of my life long passions. Not only was I unable to continue
with these sports at the level that I was used to, but there were many
days where it was a challenge just to get out of bed. According to my
back specialist, my only options were to just "deal" with the
chronic and constant back pain or chose between disc replacement, or disc
fusion procedures. Neither of which were desirable options for me.
I have tried numerous prescription anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxants
and pain killers in the past and nothing seemed to work, and then I tried
Recovery!! I started using Recovery 6 months ago after hearing rave reviews
from my mother-in-law - she was taking it for her Arthritis with unbelievable
success. Within a week I was waking up in the mornings without back pain,
and within a month, I was feeling better than I had in more than half
a decade. I had a week off this summer, and was able to windsurf and kiteboard
every day, without even thinking about my back, while in previous years
a day of sports would equal DAYS of pain. I am very thankful that I found
out about Recovery, and have been recommending it to everyone I know.
Thank you Recovery!
Sincerely,
Declan Sacre

Osteoporosis
My bone density has increased by over 5 % in a few months, as has one
of the pharmacist's. We have done nothing different other than start
taking Recovery.
L. Mensink, BC (Pharmasave)
Arthritis and Osteoporosis
The results patients have been receiving when taking Recovery, with
arthritis, osteoporosis and many other painful conditions are outstanding.
This is a mainstream OTC that many MD's are recommending. I have been
taking Recovery for heartburn and fatigue. The results in many cases are
hard to believe.

Pro Athlete - Severe Knee Pain
My name is Keith Gracey. When I was sixteen years of age I was diagnosed
by a knee surgeon that I wouldn't be able to walk let alone have a quality
of life without severed pain due to what is known as osteochondritis dissecans
in my right knee. I had this knee operated on several times in the last
ten years to remove and maintain this condition.
I am now approaching my 43rd birthday. The pain and condition started
to get so bad that I was unable to walk, and the pain was so bad I had
to take an anti inflammatory and ice the knee down on a nightly basis,
not to mention I couldn't walk more than five minutes without it acting
up. At this point I was introduced to Recovery, that was two years ago.
I have never looked backed. Within days, I was fully recovered and back
exercising like there was never anything wrong at all. I am back playing
competitive Handball on an international basis. This year I am the number
one ranked master's handball player in Canada. Not to mention the most
important thing, being able to walk and play with my two children when
ever and where ever pain free.
Keith Gracey, Delta, BC
Psoriasis And Muscle Pain
In October, 2001, a friend of mine from the Canada Senior Pro Rodeo
told me I needed to buy some Recovery. I had very bad muscle inflammation
for 4 ½ years, and my husband had psoriasis ever since we have
been married, 35 years. I took Recovery for one month and told my husband,
it is not doing me any good so you just take the rest of it. In February,
2002, my husband, Bob said to me, I think my psoriasis is gone; I have
hair growing on my leg. He had been scratching and bleeding on his legs
and sheets for 35 years, and now it is cleared up. It is now December,
2003 and he is still healed. As soon as he told me in February, that he
was healed, I ordered 6 more bottles and began taking it in March, 2002.
I will tell you why our health is so important. We are in the NSPRA,
National Senior Pro Rodeo Association Headquarters in Hamilton, MT. I
am 66 years old. I barrel race, ribbon run and team rope. My husband,
calf ropes, ribbon ropes and team ropes. When I would go to get on my
horse, I was in so much pain I could hardly stand it, but I kept going.
You must understand that I believe God heals, and he led me to the discovery
of Recovery. The pain had become so severe that I had to walk up the stairs
one foot at a time and I had to quit ribbon running (this is where the
man catches the calf on a horse, the calf has a ribbon on its tail and
the woman grabs the ribbon and runs to the finish line). Well, as of November,
2002, I am ready to run ribbons again and I can run up the stairs.
In 2003, Bob and I (Donna) will both be going for the worlds all around
in our division of the National Senior Pro Rodeo. I am so thankful for
you, God Bless Everyone.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
The dramatic benefits of Recovery are undeniable. A young girl with
Rheumatoid Arthritis reserved to lying on the couch most of the time,
even with current pharmaceutical treatments, now rides a bike again. Her
family says Recovery has changed their lives.

Severe Arthritis
My mother's arthritis was so severe she walked with a cane and was
told by the Arthritis Society to move to a home without stairs. She has
since thrown the cane out, and on a recent trip to Rome, climbed over
200 stairs in one day! The Arthritis Society is amazed at the difference!
Adele MaHaffy, BC
Severe Arthritis - Knees
I have been waiting for knee cap replacement for over a year and it
could be another 8 to 9 months before I even see my knee surgeon. I have
had more sleepless nights in count of pain. I have had approximately 7
shots of cortisone but they only last 3 to 4 months, so about month and
a half ago I heard about Recovery success in the health and wellness updates,
so I thought what the heck I have tried everything else so I might as
well try it.
Well I have been on Recovery for 6 weeks and it is unbelievable what
it has done for my knees. I was ready to use a cane, which my specialist
suggested and now I am thinking of canceling my surgery. I am 66 years
old and I could not walk 9 holes at the golf course; now I walk 18 holes
without any pain. To me it is a miracle medicine! Thanks a million!

Severe Pain and Arthritis
I am 39 years old and have been told I would need hip replacement surgery
within five years. I thought I would have to spend the rest of my life
crippled and in agony, and would likely be in a wheelchair very soon.
Upon rising in the morning, I would have to sit up slowly, rest on the
side of the bed for awhile to ease the pain of sitting up, then with much
difficulty I would stand and make my way to the shower, lurching Frankenstein-like,
crashing into the walls, stumbling and stiff-legged, bones cracking and
popping the whole time. Bathing, dressing, and using the washroom were
all endurance tests. My children saw me crying and doubled over in pain
all the time, able to walk but slowly and with a very severe limp, while
hanging onto something (e.g. a baby stroller or one of them) for support.
I tripped all the time and have nearly fallen down more times than I can
count, to the point where I became afraid to walk alone outside.
I have quite a distance to walk to my children's bus stop and found
the trip there and back to be a real ordeal, painful and very exhausting,
and after I returned home I had to go lie down and rest. It pretty much
used up my quota of energy for the day. Now, how can I even begin to tell
you the difference Recovery has made in my life? No more pain (well, ALMOST
none), no more exhaustion, no more tears, limping, tripping and terror
of falling (winters are especially scary) I can walk my daily "quota"
and then some, and still don't feel tired and in extreme pain. I've
lost weight and hope to lose more. I have energy and feel happy and healthy
once more. I'm looking forward to a much better future, medically-speaking,
than I ever thought I would be able to have.
I felt my life was over, that it was all downhill from here. By the
grace of God, thanks to Recovery I am starting to have my life back and
my six kids have their mom back the way she used to be. I've told
my parents about Recovery, I called my high school math teacher who has
fibromyalgia, all my friends hear me rave about it and next I plan to
tell my family doctor, my diabetes specialist, my dentist and anyone else
who will listen! Next on my list of "patients" are my husband
and one of my children who has asthma and psoriasis...If I had anything
to do with it, the whole world would be on Recovery!!!
With much gratitude,
Caroline Tilden, St. Catharines, ON
Update Nov 26, 2002
I am happy to report that I just keep feeling better and better all
the time. The other night I actually JUMPED straight up out of bed and
RAN down the hall! (One of my kids was running down the hall howling and
...well I won't go there; suffice it to say 5 of our 6 kids had stomach
flu that night). I would not have been able to do THAT a very short while
ago. I find I also have increasingly more mobility in my right hip, which
previously was as stiff as if it was welded at the joint. It is now easier
to get dressed! Putting on my sock is no longer a form of refined torture.

Shoulder and eye injuries and heartburn
Being an avid hockey player, I have had many injuries over the years
including a broken collar bone, two separated shoulders, a broken hand
and a torn rotator cuff all on the right side. I was unable to play any
sports that I had to use my right arm for because of chronic pain and
lack of mobility.
I am always a skeptic when it comes to new medicines but when good friends
and family both had suggested Recovery I figured it would be worth a try.
I suffered from a secondary condition of severe acid reflux (heartburn)
that caused several hospital visits and a long list of drugs to try and
minimize the condition.
I started taking Recovery three and a half years ago November of 1999
for my shoulder pain and I can say it took about four months but it was
worth it because I was able to start playing hockey, baseball and golf
again with limited discomfort and my doctor canceled my surgery to rebuild
and patch up my right shoulder.
More importantly, only by the observation of my doctor, I was not in
and out of the hospital for my stomach problems and I noticed that I had
not been taking any drugs for my acid reflux. I have been able to eat
anything and in the past three years I can say I have only had a couple
of slight attacks of heartburn instead of every day dealing with extensive
attacks.
I know this is long but the main reason why I am writing you to thank
you for Recovery is that I was hit in the eye with a puck when playing
hockey and when the eye specialist first tested me the evening of the
injury I had only 12% vision and he figured that with the damage to the
surface of my eye and the blood that was building pressure I would surely
have damaged vision for the rest of my life with 50% chance of no vision.
I followed up with the eye specialist, after wearing a patch for three
days and on my own accord I took Recovery every four hours, the specialist
just about fell over because I had over 90% vision after only three days.
I have full vision now. I did some research and with the purchase of Recovery
it only cost me $60 where as the lost of vision would have cost me without
insurance over half a million dollars in medical attention and surgery,
my job and my quality of life. Thank You Recovery always and forever I
will never stop taking it.

Arthritis and Stroke
After less than two weeks using Recovery, I was able to walk without
a cane for the first time in years. Recovery is the only thing that works
for me. Before trying Recovery, I had to take up to six extra-strength
painkillers just to cope with the constant pain I have experienced after
a stroke 7 years ago. I am a diabetic and suffer severe arthritis. Recovery
has truly been remarkable. I tell everyone about it. My Doctor is amazed!

Surgery wound healing - achilles tendon
I severed my Achilles tendon playing recreational football and had surgery
five days later to reconnect the tendon. Prior to the surgery I was told
by the surgeon that I would lose some mobility and flexibility in the
injured ankle, and that I would also lose some running speed.
When the surgery was completed I was in a cast from toe to just below
my knee and I had to use crutches. The total time I was in a cast was
five weeks, the last three weeks in a walking cast. I was told by the
orthopedic surgeon that the rate of healing was phenomenal and that I
would not require any Physiotherapy. This was nice to hear after a therapist
told me I would not be able to do any activity at all for three months,
and would be starting my rehab at this point.
It has only been two months and I am riding my mountain bike for over
hour rides, doing calf raises, and walking without any limp. I was in
very good condition at the time of the accident, so the combination of
good conditioning and high doses of Recovery made for the quick healing
process. I feel I will be running on a treadmill within two weeks, and
I plan to play football in Nov/2003 in the Provincial Championships for
topflight Flag Football.

Surgery Wound Healing - Tricep
I have been an avid Athlete/ Bodybuilder for 20 years. Two years ago,
I tore my triceps muscle away from the bone requiring surgery. My workouts
hadn't been the same until starting on Recovery. I noticed a difference
after a few weeks and now my injured arm has the same stability and strength
as my other arm. Thank you Recovery.

Tendonitis and Arthritis
Being a hair stylist, I am constantly straining my hands, wrists and
shoulders because of the repetitive nature of my work. A recent severe
bout of tendonitis led me to try Recovery; this is an unbelievable product!
After six weeks on Recovery, my joint and tendonitis pain disappeared
and miraculously so did my cellulite! I now have more energy and feel
healthier.

Chronic Tendonitis in hands and arms
Being in large animal veterinary practice for 25 years has left me with
chronic soreness in my hands and forearms. The past five years, I have
also taken many different types of products to relieve this discomfort.
Nothing has worked as well or as quickly as Recovery. In the three weeks
that I have used Recovery, my use of Ibuprofen has decreased by 80 percent.
This effect was almost immediate. I look forward to even more improvement
as time passes. Thank you again!

Tennis Elbow
I have been wearing an elbow brace for a chronic tennis elbow. I have
been on Recovery for only two weeks and I am absolutely amazed. I have
removed my brace for the first time in three months.
