Allow me to show you through a real world as fantastic as any explored by the unencumbered imaginations of science fiction writers.

This very moment, somewhere in a corner of a Hawaiian plantation, just seven minutes from the Sun, a solar photon flying at the speed of light has traveled 90-million miles of space, and penetrated miles of atmosphere, gravity fields and a droplet of dew.

It hurtles into the atomic structure of a chloroplast in a cell of a papaya leaf, rather like a fighter jet being netted on the deck of an aircraft carrier.

The electron released at the instant of this atomic excitement is captured by enzymes at the chloroplast site and becomes another building block of life-energy.

Here our electron and its enzyme settle in for a million use cycles, transmuting the very structure of substances one million times their own weight.

It has become a living cog in one of the molecular energy reactors - A vital speck of genetic information in the mitochondrial life-form.

As we adjust down the power of our observation camera, our favorite electron is viewed as but one flicker in the life-energy cloud on the surface of the enzyme?s intricately folded protein molecule. And then pulling back again, we see the enzyme as merged with the busy dance of life-energy that is the mitochondria. Reducing the viewing power another million times, we see the mitochondria themselves as a 1,000-trillion suns aglow in the galaxy that is you.

But like the pounds of bacteria occupying your intestines, your mitochondria are not really "flesh of your flesh". Their tiny cellular membrane, well inside your enormous (by comparison) cell's membrane, is not human, but bacteria-like in structure.

Each mitochondria contains its own genetic plan -not human, but mitochondrial. Each replicates at a rate independent of the cell it occupies.

Its ancestors were symbiotic emigrants riding along in your mother's egg.

Happily for you, the relationship between your 100-trillion cells and their 1,000-trillion mitochondria is a cordial one. Just as the farmer tends his papaya crop, so your cells tend the needs of their mitochondria.

The mitochondria, the producers of life-energy itself, cannot utilize crude food nutrients you eat, or even as you have digested. They require a very special fuel and a very special catalyst to "ignite" that fuel.

Your cells tend the needs of your mitochondria by providing them a blend of the phosphorus-based bioenergy fuel, Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP.), and its "combustion" catalyst, Coenzyme Q10. They can't use Q6 or Q9. They really have no choice. Your Quality of Life is Up to Your Liver

Your liver is the heart of your enzyme and ATP systems. Through time, combined with nutritional shortages and the abuses of toxins, your liver's delicate machinery can become increasingly clogged and worn down.

Its ability to transmute the foods you eat into life-charged Q10 and ATP diminishes, along with your ability to fuel your mitochondria - and in turn reduces their ability to generate life-energy in each cell. Fewer mitochondria create less of the energy needed to produce mitochondria food, and then fewer mitochondria generate even less life-energy, and so on, until your whole universe begins to revert from the busy orderliness of life into the muffled randomness of disease.

Along the way, the distressed mitochondria consume fewer calories than you continue to eat, so you begin an accumulation of stored fat. In turn, the lack of energy is mistakenly interpreted by your appetite as a need for more fuel.

Eventually the cells are smothering under a rancidifying burden of unburned fatty fuel, yet can't find 1/10th the energy or ambition they once enjoyed.

Without plentiful Q10 and ATP, your cells are like cars entering a haunted freeway where little gremlins climb up under the hood and unplug one spark plug after another until the entire city is clogged with stalled and sputtering cars.

Gradually, radiance of life fades to a faintness no longer protecting the individual cells from the ravenous microbiological wolves stalking back and forth, waiting for the fire of life to dim.

This condition, and the diseases that accompany it, can be likened to an enzyme storm, or anarchy, where the organized, directing forces, connecting your cells' chromosomes to your life-hologram, and the performance of your genetic symphony, have become weak, fragmented and out of balance -possibly because enzymatically unfavorable and deficient foods have dominated in the diet - and possibly because the system is no longer vital enough to complete important enzyme conversions in the liver.

My Personal Observations

Trying to explain the Renaissance experience is a little like trying to explain what it is like to fall in love - And fall in love with Renaissance you will!
