High calcium levels linked to fatal prostate cancer

Men with high blood levels of calcium have a significantly increased risk of developing fatal prostate cancer, new research suggests.

The study of nearly three thousand men revealed that those with the highest levels of calcium in their blood were 2.68 times more likely to develop fatal prostate cancer than men with the lowest levels of calcium. The association remained even after the researchers took into consideration major risk factors for prostate cancer – age, weight, race, and family history. Blood calcium levels did not have a predictive effect upon non-fatal prostate cancers.

The data on blood calcium levels was determined an average of 9.9 years before the diagnosis of prostate cancer was made, thus suggesting that a simple blood test may identify men that are at high risk of developing the disease.

At present it is unclear whether it is calcium itself or parathyroid hormone, which regulates blood calcium levels, that plays a role in the pathology of the disease.

Here is my comment:

Isn’t it interesting that after a multi-year mineral imbalance we end up in the cancer ward? To balance calcium we need to supplement with transdermal magnesium. Fun in the Sun

Summer time is approaching, and for many people this means breaking out the sun block. I was just speaking to a friend who told me that their 18 year old son just got back from the beach bright red like a lobster, despite having used the sun tan lotion. I find it odd that humans have been in the sun for thousands of years, yet it is only now that we are having trouble.

Part of this may have to do with the ozone layer thinning, though I still remain skeptical that the UV rays coming through our atmosphere are that much more potent than they were 400 years ago. All you have to do is climb up into the mountains, and get the effect.

I believe that suntan lotions cause more problems than they prevent. Complicated skin problems can arise and in many cases people wind up with cancer because of it rather than in spite of it. The issue here is this: in the presence of sunlight we create vitamin D, the best protector against cancer, in the skin. Blocking sunlight is stopping the vitamin D production, yet it is adding all kinds of unpronounceable ingredients, some of which are petroleum based.

The Structuring of Water

Here is a question I want to pose: what is the difference to you between thin, dew-like water compared to what you get out of the tap or the commercial water bottle?

The answer? Cellular Hydration. Your body is able to absorb it much faster and more efficiently. When you drink water, your body has to de-structure it in order to absorb it and this takes a great deal of energy.
