Obesity

One of the apparent epidemics affecting today’s population is the problem of obesity. And that’s just the start – obesity is behind other troubles that include diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and more. Every year obesity and weight gain continue to grow in our country, the numbers are staggering at around 127 million Americans. Statistics tell us that around 300,000 people die from obesity every year.

The problem of obesity is really quite simple. Not easy, but it is simple. It really comes down to understanding the situation we are in. High nutrient density in foods is essential, and adequate exercise is almost as important. The problem is that due to over farming of our soil many of the foods we come eat on a regular basis just don’t have the nutrients they should. Empty foods deliver calories, not nutrients, and therefore they get stored in our body as fat cells.

There are some really good products on the market now which are designed to hydrolyze fats, allowing the body to eliminate them as waste. One really great product which my good friend Patrick Buehl told me about is Lipalone. This product can be taken with the meal and ensure that any fats consumed will in fact be converted into EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) where they can be either stored in your muscles, converted to energy or expelled as waste.
