Toxins in the Body

One of the biggest causes of health problems in the world today is the excess of toxins we have floating around in our bodies. Keeping toxins out of your body is one of the best ways you can prevent chronic degenerative illness. Some of the symptoms of toxicity (mineral imbalance) are headaches, dizziness (head spinning), feelings of unreality and inability to concentrate - different from the symptoms of a flu or head cold. People who suffer from chronic fatigue feel this way very often.

Auto-intoxification or self-pollution is when the body is unable to get rid of the toxins that are in its elimination systems. It can affect your thinking in a big way. These toxins start in the gut, get into your blood, your lymphatic system and if things don’t change fast, they will be deposited in low areas of your body - your feet and your pelvis [maybe that’s why your feet smell bad?].

Toxins get “set aside” in the colon in undigested, putrefied pieces. When your body extracts water from the colon for its internal needs, the toxins are carried with the water into the bloodstream. The body then tries to get rid of them. If the filtering capacity of the liver and kidneys is overwhelmed, the toxins will be sent to the lymphatic system. The next step is to hide the toxins in a low circulation tissue: fat, bones and cartilage.

Drinking alkalizing water, exercise and eating lots of fiber are good ways to start counteracting this process. I’ll be posting about other more specific ways in the next few hundred posts.
